Experience Restoration in Action

An immersive nature and community experience

May 9-10, 2025

Masungi Georeserve, Rizal, Philippines

About Carbon Camp

Carbon Camp bridges the gap between theory and reality in the nature-based solutions space. The camp brings together investors, project developers, environment advocates, and community leaders designed to provide a hands-on experience demonstrating how real ecosystem restoration work happens in practice.

This two-day event will feature an exciting hike through the majestic limestones of the protected and restored landscapes of the Masungi Georeserve, workshops on field techniques for carbon measurement, and technical discussions on drivers of project quality from developers and community leaders throughout S Asia.

Carbon Camp offers a unique opportunity for Chief Sustainability Officers, impact investors, and nature organizations to deepen their understanding of nature-related financial risks and opportunities while building strong, field-informed investment strategies.

Join us to build lasting professional networks and be part of the movement driving real climate and biodiversity positive impact!

The Masungi Georeserve in the Philippines has 400 ha of restored forests that started in 1996.

Now, it is a sanctuary for a diverse array of flora and fauna, many of which are endemic or threatened. The reserve’s unique karst landscape and dedicated conservation efforts have fostered a habitat where numerous species thrive.

  • Carbon Camp is about bringing the right people together—local communities, project developers, and investors who are serious about long-term restoration. This is just the beginning. In the coming years, we plan to hold more Carbon Camps, expanding the network of people taking real action on the ground

    - Lee Pearson, CEO and Co-Founder, Wovoka

  • Carbon Camp is important because restoration doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes a community of local leaders, scientists, project developers, and investors working together to make real impact. Carbon Camp is where those connections are built. By experiencing the work firsthand, people see why it matters and how they can be part of it. The more Carbon Camps we hold, the more we strengthen this network of action.
